Janson talks a lot these days. I love the cute little noises he makes. Sorry-the video is kind of blurry. I took it with my regular camera and the video is horrible on it.

My parents bought us this nice Jeep jogger in the picture above. I was so excited to take Janson jogging with me. I bundled him up in his warm, blue snowman suit and walked out the door and down my driveway. I began jogging and the wheels shook terribly! I was so mad!!! So I came back in the house and, without any luck, tried to fix the wheels. So Janson didn't get his first running-with-mommy experience, but at least he loved his snowman suit. He was smiling so much while he was in it. Hopefully Rick can fix the wheels on the jogger.

I just wanted to write something really quick about our little baby. Britt pretty much said it all, but I want to share a few of my feelings as well... I don't think I can really put into words what it feels like to see your baby for the first time. It is the culmination of months, if not years of planning and preparing and to finally see him was absolutely breathtaking. I finally understand why they call it the miracle of birth!! I was of course extremely excited during the whole pregnancy but I know now that you really can't understand how it will be until you actually have him. I am not one that gets to excited or emotional about things, I don't let too many things really change me or get to me but I am in awe at how in one quick moment my whole entire world was changed. He in that instant became the most important thing in my life (as is Britt of course) and I wouldn't have it any other way!! It is incredible how you can in an instant love something sooooo much. It was the most beautiful moment of my entire life and he is such a blessing to our home and family. He is so angelic and peaceful. Britt's mom made a comment a couple days before he was born that really struck me. We knew he would be here soon and she said he is saying his last good-byes with Heavenly Father. I can picture that scene in my mind. I can't imagine what it must be like for Heavenly Father to have to say good bye to all his children, knowing they are coming into our world that isn't always perfect and will be away for a while. It must be really hard. What an awesome responsiblity it is that we as parents bear. I hope that we don't let down our Heavenly Parents and that we care for and raise Janson the way they want us too, so that he can return home to them when his time is through here on Earth. I am grateful that he and Britt are both healthy and doing well. We love him very very much, and look forward to the years to come. P.S. Britt was amazing during the entire pregnancy and labor. I have never met a girl like her in my life and I never will. There honestly isn't anything that she isn't great at doing. She is the smartest woman I know and the best overall person I have ever been around. I am lucky to have her and Janson is lucky that she is his mom. Thank you for giving me a son he is perfect. I love you Britt!!!
